Sometimes you might find your brand… lacking.
You know how it is when things lose their sparkle and start to feel boring and just, meh?
That doesn’t mean you have to dig in and do a complete overhaul/rebrand. In fact, that feeling of sparkle loss could just be because YOU are used to things and they don’t feel new and fresh anymore.
But someone visiting your website for the first time, or discovering you newly on instagram – they may find your brand amazing and awesome!

Tidying things up though, never hurts. Taking a bit of time to revisit your brand, to check in, to get yourself realigned and things polished up – that will undoubtedly help your business.
First, it will give you a new sense of pride and confidence. That ALWAYS makes it easier to share and promote your business. Think how you feel after you’ve super cleaned your house for company? It feels good, right?
Then, just a little TLC toward your brand goes a long way. In life, whatever you nourish and love on grows and blossoms – pretty much without fail.
So take a minute to go through these 6 points to see what could help spiffy your brand up and then schedule the time to do the work needed to make things shiny again. Your elbow grease will pay off!
Make sure that you’re clear about your brand. Often things can start to feel muddy or watered down when we lose focus on the elements that make our brand unique and special.
Get clarity about your vision and why, your purpose and mission. This is the heart and soul of your brand. It’s the voice and vibe that let’s people really know what your brand is all about.
Without clarity, your brand is not going to shine, you won’t have a clear purpose about what you’re creating and WHY you’re doing what you’re doing with our business.
Clarity gives you freedom, power and confidence. It’s powerful.
So revisit your Business Vision and make sure that the spirit of your brand is loud and clear so you can focus on it while you work on your business.
Part of having brand clarity is knowing who YOUR people are. The ideal, dreamy, amazing clients that inspire you to do your best work.
The more you know and understand your people – the stronger your brand voice will be and the more you’ll create stuff that attracts more of those perfect clients into your orbit.
Knowing your people goes deeper than the demographic stuff, btw. It’s also about understanding their values, what really matters to them, what they struggle with and how you and your business can help them flourish.
Client knowledge is a great way to make sure your brand is delivering the goods – how can you do that if you don’t know who you’re serving?

Are you just being random when you post things on instagram or facebook? Or do you have a PLAN and a purpose about how you’re sharing about your business?
A solid visual strategy will have your brand look professional and purposeful, it will do tons to give you street cred which helps people take your business seriously.
Be your brand, in everything you do. Oooze it. Breathe it. Share it.
If you’re the only one who sees and interacts with your brand, then it can’t truly shine, am I right? You have to get more eyeballs on your stuff to have it start to have a life of it’s own. The best way to do that is to SHOW UP.
Be seen and known.

This is probably the most important thing you can do to build a powerful and potent brand.
Engage with your people!
Help them, guide them, inspire them. Make them laugh. Lift them up.
A great quote from Maya Angelo is this: “I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.”
So make your people feel good, important, seen. When you do that, you’ll have more than a brand, you’ll have a movement.
